If you live in rural Blackford County, you may think your only access to the internet is through a dial-up phone connection.
Not necessarily.
Recent upgrades and additions to the high speed internet service of OnlyInternet Broadband and Wireless (OIBW) have resulted in even more eastern Blackford County residents having access to broadband. OIBW’s network of antenna sites delivers internet service wirelessly to customer’s homes without using their phone line.
According to Jeremy Rodgers, Sales Manager of OIBW, “The expansion of high speed internet in this area is a direct response to requests from area residents. This move will allow consumers and businesses to enjoy a greater choice of services at affordable prices.”
While OIBW already offered wireless service in Hartford City and Montpelier, the addition of antenna sites at the Blackford County Security Center and the Highway Department brings in even larger areas of Harrison and Jackson townships.
